Marcus is an 8-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Marcus is a happy child who likes to smile. He loves music, especially country western and will sometimes dance to the music. Marcus goes to school all day and is able to participate with the school activities and with the other children in his class. Marcus is a child with special needs and requires total care. He has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, seizure disorder and is fed by a G-Button. Marcus is non-verbal and is visually impaired. He has become very good at recognizing people by their voices and responds by turning his head toward the person speaking. Marcus is a wheelchair user and requires physical and occupation therapy. He makes use of a walker and with much practice could one day be able to walk with it. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Marcus needs a special family to be committed and prepared to work with him to ensure that his special needs will be met. He will need continued physical and occupational therapy and medical follow-up. His family will need to advocate and be resourceful in helping him with his development.
