Mark is a 15-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Mark is a loving youth who is also very bright. He has a strong imagination and enjoys playing with computers. He also loves to play video games is really good on the keyboard. When he is older he would love to be a video game tester. Mark is diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and tends to act young for his age. He can become overly excited and must be redirected when he acts impulsively. He does best in an environment that is predictable, consistent, and nurturing with caregivers who set clear and consistent limits, and provide frequent verbal praise for his positive behavior. Mark does well in school, however, he does have a hard time paying attention and often needs to be redirected. He performs best in a small class setting where he can be supervised constantly and receive assistance when needed. He enjoys participating in team sports with peers his age.
Mark, Kaitlin and Evan are a close group of siblings that really want to be adopted. This group enjoys doing activities together and get along well with one another. There is some strong sibling rivalry between Mark and Evan, however, with some time they come to their differences. Mark and Evan love to play video games and be on the computer. They spend a lot of time together and can become very competitive with each other. Kaitlin enjoys to spend her time reading. Her favorite books are Twilight and The Host. She is very bright and her favorite subject in school is English. This group would be best in a home with strong role models.
