Marquavion is a 10-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Marquavion, who prefers to go by "Mark," is a very active and expressive youth. He likes basketball, riding his bike, and playing on his electric guitar. Mark develops strong bonds with his caregivers over time, as family is very important to him. Mark experiences challenges with controlling himself, especially in school, where he finds math particularly difficult and frustrating. While he may act impulsively on occasion, he is able to reflect afterward and understand the circumstances and consequences of his actions. Mark makes friends readily and enjoys being physically active, whether playing alone or with others. He can be protective of other children, especially those he perceives to be more vulnerable. Mark has siblings who are not part of this adoption. He remains clearly bonded to them and hopes his forever family will allow him to maintain contact. Visit me at the Heart Gallery of Central Texas.
Mark wants very much to have a forever family. He will be most successful with parents who are consistently supportive and who will help him maintain the important relationships with his siblings.
