Marsades, who goes by Sadie, is a sweet young lady who is a very creative. Reading, writing and drawing are some of her favorite activities. Like most children her age, she read the Harry Potter books and saw all of the movies. She is excited for the final movie to come out on DVD so she can see it. Sadie identifies church as one of her favorite places to go. She attends weekly and also goes to church camps in the summer. She often listens to religious based music and likes to sing along to her CDs and tapes. She also lists the Backstreet Boys as a favorite musical group. Sadie does well in school with special education supports. The professionals who work with Sadie say she is capable of doing the work and is very bright. Sadie will tell you she doesn’t like to do homework. That is currently her struggle with school. Sadie is outgoing and adjusts fairly easily to new situations. She is usually up for anything…from riding bikes, to quiet time in her room, to playing GameBoy…she is easy to engage in activities. In many ways, Sadie is a girly-girl. She likes to have her hair done and says her favorite color is pink. However, when it comes to her clothes, Sadie says she always wears pants or jeans. She doesn’t like skirts or dresses.
