Jamari

Jamari is an 18-year-old girl from Pennsylvania who is hoping to be adopted.
Jamari is one of the most amazing young adults that you could ever meet! She is bright, insightful and charismatic. She has a humorous side and loves to wear silly socks and will do anything to make a person smile. Jamari loves to listen to music, look at old photographs, write poems and loves to spend time cooking. She also loves to dabble in craft projects, knitting, sewing and modeling clay. Jamari wants families to know that she is great around younger kids and can also be a big help around the house. Jamari is currently taking classes at a community college until she is ready to transfer to a university. Before beginning these classes, she had already been accepted at two well-known colleges. Jamari's ultimate goal has been to pursue a career in social services and/or psychology. She loves the idea of doing drama therapy or helping veterans overcome post-traumatic stress disorder. Jamari is driven to overcome all of life's obstacles and hasn't given-up that she can have a forever family who will help her continue with her life's journey. Jamari knows that while she is capable of being independent, she needs a strong support system who will ask her how her day was and will unconditionally support her. She doesn't want to live on her own yet. Jamari is holding onto hope that a family will, "accept me for who I am and will support me even when I make mistakes." Jamari is also holding onto hope that a family will still want her even though she is over 18 years old. She really wants to reassure potential families that she is committed to becoming a part of their family forever. All families will be considered for Jamari. She is legally free for adoption.
