He will soon be stepping down to a group home and transitioning into public school. He is working on understanding boundaries and taking responsibility for his actions Matthew is a remarkable boy who has endured a great deal. He continues to learn and grow within the structure and consistency that he requires. Matthew will do best with an adoptive family that can help him process daily activities and tasks. He needs a highly structured environment where expectations and routines are communicated to him on a daily basis. Matthew has a brother and sister with whom frequent phone contact and occasional visits will be necessary.
