Matthew struggles in school and sometimes with his impulsive behaviors. He receives special education services to assist with his ability to learn successfully. Matthew requires a regular routine to help him stay on task. He participates in therapy and is making progress in his treatment goals. Matthew has experienced the loss of his mother and grandmother and the instability of other family members as his caregivers. He dreams of being in a family that will love him unconditionally – a family that will be there for him in the good times as well as the tough times. Matthew is a young man who is motivated to live successfully in a family setting, where he can look forward to sharing special family moments being valued as a son.
