ROTC, 4-H and cheerleading are just a few of the activities Melissa loves to participate in. She is a very active, friendly and sweet-natured teenager. Melissa has developed strong, healthy relationships with her foster mom and foster sisters, and these relationships are very important to her. She makes friends easily and enjoys hanging out and talking on the phone. Melissa does well in school. Her foster mom describes her as "a joy and a blessing in our home." Melissa has made amazing progress and is ready to find a special family just for her. She worries that she won't find her adoptive family before she ages out of foster care.
