Michael can be a great guy! He is very sweet and polite. He opens doors for others and pulls out chairs. Michael is also very challenged by his emotions and the appropriate way to demonstrate his feelings. He gets in trouble by the things he tells others. His foster mother is very positive about him, she feels he is a sweet child and holds a world of potential. Michael likes to help others and worked with his pastor in the yard. He likes outdoor activities like fishing, riding bikes, swimming and shooting hoops. He is a bit of a loner and plays outside by himself. He has a younger brother who is very important to him, but will not be placed in adoption with him. It will be important for them to stay close. Michael's family will need to be involved in his therapy treatment and medication as this is important to maintain his emotional well being. They will need to be patient with him while he adjusts, learns better behaviors, and tries to attach to their family. It will take some time to grow close to his new family because of past losses and he may test limits along the way. Once he is comfortable he will open up to be the son he can be. Michael's family will need to help him maintain his relationship with his brother.
