Michael is a 16-year-old boy from Oklahoma who is hoping to be adopted.

This young man is Michael, and he is ready to meet you! Michael is currently placed in a TFC home where he is very table. Although he really is doing well there, he is looking for an adoptive home where he can have permanency. Michael likes living in the country and being around animals. He likes to play with snakes, although he knows this can sometimes be dangerous. He had a kitten named Panther, and enjoys playing with other family pets, such as a dog and cats! Michael also enjoys being outside, playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline, and playing video games when he had to be inside. Michael is very friendly and polite. He has very interesting stories about the animals in his life that he is eager to share, and can have a conversation with adults and youth his age alike! Michael attends public school and is on an IEP. He gets extra help in some of his classes. Michael admits that in the past his behavior had been challenging, but now he takes medication that gives him an extra boost of help managing his behavior! Michael is doing great and is pleasant, cheerful, friendly, and fun to be around! Michael would like to have contact with a biological sister who is no longer in DHS custody. They at one point had a very close relationship, and Michael misses his sister. Michael will do well in a family with pets who can love him unconditionally, support him and provide structure and routine for his life, and who can encourage him educationally. Michael has the ability to be a wonderful addition to a loving family!!!
