Michelle is generally cheerful and compliant. She likes to watch TV, especially soap operas. She enjoys reading young adult novels and likes to try her hand at writing. School is not her favorite thing and her grades reflect this. Classes she likes she does well in and vice versa. She sometimes has trouble relating to her peers and may get angry if she thinks someone is "getting in her face". Socially she appears younger than her age. She has had some recurring problems with stealing and lying, both at home and at school. These have decreased in her current foster home. Michelle has a half-sister who lives in Lexington, Kentucky. They exchange regular emails. Contact should definitely continue. She also has a previous foster mother with whom she is very close. She considers she and her mother to be like her own family. She would like to maintain contact with them as well.
