Michelle loves to play outside and explore things. She enjoys riding her bike and watching cartoons. She often has a helpful attitude and responds to positive praise. She is a very sweet, loving and inquisitive child. Michelle is highly impulsive and has been known to eat non-food items. She is easily startled and can be defiant if things do not go her way. Michelle loves school and gets upset when she is taken out for counseling and such. She does meet eligibility for special services at school both academically and emotionally. She has a tutor who is with her all day in the classroom. She receives one on one attention all day. Despite all this attention, Michele still has difficulty staying in her seat and paying attention. Michelle struggles with same age peers. She tries to make friends at school but they just seem to tease and make fun of her. Michelle tends to be a follower and has difficulty with cause and effect. She is very forgetful and will require numerous prompts and reminders. Michele is working on keeping her boundaries with strangers and to not get into other people's belongings. She does require supervision. Michelle has a very active imagination. Michelle is diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Effect.

Michelle will need just the right family to help her be successful in her "forever" placement. She needs a family who has a great desire to be an advocate for children and who will love her and guide her every step of the way. Her family will need to be strong and consistent.
