Miguel is a 13-year-old boy from Arizona who is hoping to be adopted.

Twelve-year-old Miguel may seem pretty shy when you first meet him, but it does not take long before this bright-eyed little boy opens up and shows you his rambunctious personality. Miguel is an artistic, energetic, and amusing young man with a variety of interests. In his free time, Miguel enjoys playing outside, watching television and expressing his creative side through drawing. He particularly likes to sketch cars and Dragon Ball Z comic book characters. A sixth grader, Miguel states that he enjoys school. His school provides a structured and predictable routine for him. His favorite subject is Art. Miguel also enjoys learning about Mathematics and Reading. He expresses that he could use some help with his social skills. Miguel’s time in the classroom has had a positive influence on him. When asked what he would like to do when he gets older, Miguel had a quick answer. His chosen profession? “A teacher,” he answered. “To help kids just like me.” Once home from school in the afternoon, Miguel says he likes to kick back and watch the Sci-Fi TV Channel or sketch. He also enjoys listening to Rap and grabbing a yummy snack to relax. Miguel’s case manager describes him as: unique, sensitive, respectful, determined, trustworthy, clever, and sincere. Miguel’s new family should be able to provide him with plenty of attention, time, support and love. It is important that his parents are able to provide support and advocacy for him scholastically. In addition, they should be able to give him consistency, structure, positive reinforcement, affection and guidance in the home.
