Monica is a 9-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Monica is very outgoing who likes to be in charge. She is personable and enjoys playing with other children. Monica pouts when she is upset especially when other children don't want to play what she wants to play. She is easy to comfort when she gets upset. Monica likes to play with Bratz dolls. She likes to read and she enjoys going to school. Monica likes lady bugs. She is very smart and does very well in school. Monica interacts well with other children and adults. She does what she is told most of the time. However, when she doesn't like it when she doesn't get her way. Monica's foster parents say that "Monica is very smart and can do even better in school if she applied herself more". With some guidance, support and love, Monica can grow and progress. She likes to have conversations with someone she trusts. She likes to be active and do lots of different activities, especially outdoor activities.

Cierra, Monica, Osiris and Dusty all interact great together. Cierra and Monica are very protective towards Dusty. All of the siblings like to be outdoors and participate in activities such as swimming, basketball, and bike riding. These wonderful siblings will need a family who can provide structure and a loving environment and who also likes to have fun! Monica expressed that she would like a mother and father who are "African-American or Caucasian/African-American". Monica also states she wants a family who likes outdoor activities and going on vacations. Monica's adoption worker is seeking a family who will commit to her and her siblings and raise them together. The adoption worker states Monica and her siblings will do best as the only children or with a few other children in the home.
