Nephra is a young lady who has a pleasant personality and enjoys interacting with other children. She has been diagnosed with autism, pervasive development disorder, mild mental retardations and clef palate. She enjoys having her hair braided, learning how to cook and doing arts and craft projects such as coloring, bead work and sewing. Nephra also likes watching the Animal Planet channel and cartoons on television, eating at restaurants and going to the petting zoo. She requires consistent supervision and follows a daily schedule of activities. She responds well to redirection and is doing very well at school. Nephra needs a very caring and supportive family that has a lot of time, love and attention to give her. She will do best in a home with a daily structured schedule where she is the youngest or only child. All families will be considered for Nephra. She is legally free for adoption.
