Life with Nevada (11/94) will never be dull!!!! Nevada is a very friendly and outgoing young lady who was a joy to talk too. Nevada likes to have fun with her friends and she likes to joke around a lot. She likes to play volleyball and she is interested in learning kick boxing and wrestling. She also plays the flute and has been involved with the school bands previously. Nevada does not really like to read but she does like to draw, write poetry and listen to music. Her favorite foods are chicken nuggets from McDonalds and ice cream of any type. Nevada is an excellent student with her grades being A’s and B’s. She feels she can get along with any of her peers as long as they are not mean to her. She reported she typically respects authority figures as long as they respect her as well. Nevada’s foster parents described Nevada as being very outgoing and really sweet. They reported that Nevada really enjoys sports, food and sleeping. She is a beautiful young lady both inside and out who learned at an early age how to become a survivor. It will take very strong and loving parents to open their hearts to this young lady and wait for her to trust again. Nevada’s success obviously depends on the right adoptive parents whose unconditional love and acceptance will do a lot to help Nevada reach her potential and develop some real self-confidence. Nevada’s transition to a new family will be slow, due to her past, but the payoffs will be worth the wait –Nevada has the potential to do or be anything she can dream of.
