She is also good at swimming and reading and would love to become a cheerleader. Having to restrict her physical activities for the time being, Nikita is happily learning to sew. She also enjoys playing with her dolls, riding horses, shopping, and watching TV. Nikita likes to play with younger children and is a joy to be around. She plans to become a country singer when she grows up. Nikita attends the school on campus and has worked like a trooper to catch up what she has missed. She is recovering from back surgery and has shown how brave she can be. Counseling has helped Nikita understand her feelings of grief and separation and now she is learning how nice it is to share with other children. She has also learned that she can’t always be in control and how nice it can be to give the control to the adults in her life. Nikita has proven how resilient and optimistic she is. She hopes to find a loving home that will allow her to have contact with siblings and her maternal grandmother. Nikita needs support and lots of attention to her academics in order to continue to make progress. Nikita would love to be in a structured, supportive and stable home with a fun, happy, and nurturing family.
