Oscar is a 15-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Oscar is an active teenager who has discovered the outdoors and enjoys those activities. While much of his life was growing up in the city, he has come to appreciate his current rural life full of camping, swimming, and outside sports. He likes listening to his radio while doing many of these activities. Oscar also has another passion, cooking. While he enjoys doing many things in the kitchen, he especially enjoys baking. Another inside activitie that Oscar enjoys is playing video games. Oscar has difficulty in school from time to time. He needs help staying focused and would benefit from one to one tutoring with his classes. His best classes are in social studies, language studies and P.E. (sports). Oscar becomes easily frustrated and reacts in an irritable manner towards peers at times. Sometimes Oscar forgets that horse playing can become irritating to others and just needs reminding of that. He struggles with his confidence levels and is working to raise his self-esteem.
Oscar and Adam get along great together and enjoy spending time together. They enjoy some of the same activities and are always horse playing. These boys want to be adopted together. They need a family with patience and understanding but who is willing to help them assume responsibility for their own actions. These boys will need structure and a stable home environment where they can develop self confidence and self-esteem. A family with a strong male role model would be best.
