Photolisting Profile for Pam
Pam is a 12-year-old girl from Kentucky who is hoping to be adopted.
Pam (01/97) is a typical girly girl. She loves clothes, dressing up, makeup, and dolls. She is a very likeable and friendly child, but can sometimes take a while to warm up to situations and new people. Pam participated in a clowning program, learning circus tricks, and she really enjoyed this. She seems to enjoy organized activities. At times she has been as bit intimidated by older children, but tries her best to fit in. Pam can also be very stubborn and independent. She can be a natural leader, especially with younger children. Although Pam presents as a leader, she actually has a low self image. This is attributed to her many losses and her severe abuse history. She will need to continue to work to resolve issues resulting from her past so eventually she will be able to process the trauma she experienced. In new situations she may occasionally present as hyper or anxious. Pam loves to hike, run, ride bikes, swim, play soccer, etc. Being very active is her best therapy. It wears her out and calms her down. She used to be underweight but now she loves to eat. Pam will try most foods, but she doesn’t like cucumbers or asparagus. Pam is generally able to occupy alone time. She enjoys reading and writing. Pam is very soft spoken and sweet and can be eager to help others when she wants to. Pam needs a experienced family that is able to meet her needs and commit to being there for her no matter what. The family will need to live in Kentucky or close to Kentucky. Could you be that special family for Pam?Disclaimer
