Patricia,"Patty", is the youngest of the girls and is quite a charmer. She is friendly and outgoing. Patty has a number of friends at school and at the YWCA. She is bursting with energy and very talkative. Patty enjoys playing with her dolls, playing games, going to the park, to church to the YWCA and going pm family outings. Recently Patty won an award for participating in a Bible Fellowship. Patty really likes going to school. Overall, she does well academically. She is very smart and articulate and is at grade level. She is making significant progress in writing her name and recognizing numbers and letters. At times Patty has some difficulty completing her assignments. Frequently, she has a hard time sitting still and needs help to keep quiet and focused. Patty does respond well to redirection and reminders.Patty is making good progress in learning to share and to get along with her siblings and other children in the home. She is very expressive of her feelings in the home. Patty is working on overcoming past trauma and issues. Patty is learning good coping skills, healthy boundaries and how to process and express emotions in a respectful manner. She is practicing not being so hasty and thinking before reacting to situations. Patty has a great deal of potential the she is working on developing.
Caron, Angela, Kiana, Taylor, Patricia, Kenny and Fabian are a wonderful sibling group of seven and all are bursting with energy. They are very close to each other and are very different in their personalities and interests. All the children like going on family outings and playing outside. They have typical sibling relationships which sometimes includes sibling rivalry. All the children are talented and creative. They want to be adopted together. The family for them will need to have strong parenting skills and a high energy level. The family will need to provide structure, encouragement and close supervision.
