She also likes listening to music and singing. Patricia is diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder and learns at a slower rate than other children her age. Patricia requires assistance in her daily living skills but is cooperative and welcomes the assistance most of the time. She needs reminders to attend to activities of daily living. The family will need a lot of patience and the ability to identify and acknowledge the small accomplishments.
