Peter is a 10-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Peter "Petie" is a very energetic boy who socializes well with others, but he can be shy when first meeting new people. Petie has improved his social skills when interacting with peers. Petie struggles academically. He comprehends approximately half of the material presented to him. Petie is able to recite the alphabet. Petie is a very active boy who enjoys football and basketball. He has also been playing T-ball at the local YMCA. Petie receives Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. He also participates in yoga, music, dance, and horse therapy. Peter will need an adoptive family that has experience with children with special needs. Peter will need a very structured environment as he has difficulty adjusting to change.
