Although Quatrell likes to play with other children he is sometimes quarrelsome in his play activities. Quatrell is able to entertain himself by playing alone. Quatrell has a bright smile and smiles constantly. Quatrell has difficulty with speech. He speaks with one to two words at a time. He attends speech therapy and is beginning to talk more frequently. Quatrell is able to understand directives and he responds to direct communication. Quatrell learns at a slower rate, however, he is fond of the learning process. He likes attending school and does not like to leave. Quatrell responds to structure and consistency in his daily routine. He takes pride in brushing his teeth and in his hygiene.
