Raymond is a 14-year-old boy from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.

Raymond is described as energetic, curious, and intelligent. He likes to keep his mind occupied and is always interested in learning new things, especially related to Science. Raymond loves biking, camping, and anything to do with the outdoors. He had a fantastic time at 4-H camp during the summer and hopes to become a Park Ranger. He enjoys playing with remote-controlled cars and airplanes and playing all types of video/computer games. Raymond also enjoys playing basketball and running track for his school. Raymond attends regular classes at school where, with some adjustments and assistance including glasses and mentors, he has made terrific improvements. His home staff helps him stay on task with homework, while he developed his own schedule for putting it first and foremost in importance. Counseling is helping Raymond learn appropriate social skills, understand the importance of good grades, and issues of trust and safety. Raymond hopes for an adoptive family who enjoys outdoor activities. He prefers to not have younger siblings so the parents will have plenty of time for him. Raymond needs stability, structure, and consistency, but he would like to work towards earning some freedoms and rewards. It is important that Raymond remain in contact and have visits with his brother, who is being adopted separately.
