Rebecca is a 15-year-old girl from Alabama who is hoping to be adopted.

Rebecca was born in April 1997. She is a healthy young lady who is in the 7th grade (school year 2010-2011). Her favorite activities are playing Game Boy, Leapfrog, playing with her stuffed animals and her laptop computer. She is very helpful around the house. She is learning to cook and clean and helping care for the household cat.

She has a great time watching the Animal Planet channel on T.V. and reading books related to animals. She does not watch a lot of other television shows because their violent nature can easily upset her. Her favorite restaurants are Taco Bell and anywhere she can order pizza!

Rebecca needs to be the only child in a home where she can have a log of one-on-one attention and love. She responds best to routine, structure and stability and is often uncomfortable if her routine changes.

In the past Rebecca has found it difficult to make friends. However, she is now building a few close relationships with some of her school peers. Rebecca is working through her feelings that have resulted from having a traumatic childhood. She is making lots of progress and has great potential for a wonderful future.
