Richard is a great boy with a lot of love to give. He has endured much in his young life and needs a family who will provide structure, permanency, and love. Anyone who knows him would be drawn to his terrific personality, his warm and kind attitude as he is very attuned to people's feelings. He will go out of his way to help around the home and keep things tidy. Richard is very energetic and would benefit from a structured environment. With his counseling, he has made tremendous progress in controlling his impulsiveness and can appropriately express his feelings. He does continue to sometimes be anxious but that will likely continue until he finds permanency with a family. The family desired is one who'll understand his impulsivity, advocate his special needs and be open to on-going medical treatment.
