Ricky is a 10-year-old boy from Iowa who is hoping to be adopted.

Ricky and Leeann have lots of activities they would like to do with their adoptive family. They would love to go on vacations, play games and go out to eat. Also, they’d like lots of outdoor activities like playing baseball, softball, swimming and bike riding. Ricky enjoys playing video games, building creative items with Legos and K’nex, playing baseball and going swimming. He plays catcher for his baseball team and does a good job. School is a challenge for Ricky, but he tries very hard to please his teachers. He requires assistance at school and at home to stay on task with school work. Though Ricky is developmentally delayed, he has made significant progress in his current home and the hope is that he will be able to live independently as an adult. Leeann is very active and likes to stay busy. She enjoys bike riding, playing softball, swimming, crafts, coloring, video games and jumping on trampolines. She is a very social person and enjoys being with others although she still needs help with appropriate interactions. Leeann is intelligent, a fast thinker and likes to be in charge. Academically she does well and is an excellent reader. An adoptive family that is structured, organized and experienced with reactive attachment disorder would be a good fit for this sibling team. A strong parent team without other children in the home may be best, as they will need a lot of time to devote to Ricky and Leeann.
