Rikki is very active. While turning cart wheels, she can talk 90 to nothing but if you ask her to stand still, it is like pulling teeth to get her to say much at all. She loves to talk about her day, her friends, or who she is not getting along with. She is very outgoing and can take the "lead" if asked. She loves music, to read,to play soccer and is very athletic. She is very good about expressing her emotions and telling you what she thinks or feels. Rikki has a good sense of humor and likes to make people laugh.
Rikki and Janelle are very close siblings. Although Rikki is the older sibling, Janelle tends to look after Rikki as if she is the big sister. They are very supportive and protective of each other. They are both a little anxious about being adopted as they feel very close to their house parents. This is very positive in that it demonstrates their ability to bond with their caregivers. They both love to be involved in group and individual activities in their current placement and at school.
