Ronald is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Ronald is a born leader with a very strong personality. He likes to be in control of his immediate environment, yet, he can be re-directed. Making and keeping friendships is a challenge for Ronald. He is working and has made progress in starting conversations, being less forward, and polite. He finds it difficult to listen and often acts before thinking, and quickly switches from one activity to another. Ronald enjoys outdoor activities like playing catch with a ball and glove, riding his bike, and using playground equipment. Reading is Ronald's passion, his favorite book series are Goosebumps Books. Ronald enjoys watching action/adventure movies like the Harry Potter and Hotel For Dogs. His favorite TV series is the Family Guy animated sitcom. Ronald is a good student whose teachers describe as a great reader. He has an assistant shadow him throughout the school day to help Ronald stay focused and avoid distractions from other students. Ronald wants a family who likes outdoor activities with no younger children or one or two children older than himself. The family needs to be patient, supportive, and flexible to the challenges of raising an adolescent boy. His family will need to advocate on Ronald's behalf at school and for the educational services he will need to address his special needs. A family with one or two other children his age or older would be great for Ronald.
