Ruben is an 8-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Ruben is a happy, lovable, energetic child who desires a lot of attention. He enjoys playing with racing cars and his favorite racing car is "Lightning McQueen". Ruben also enjoys playing with cars that makes noises. He likes to watch video games and cartoons that feature Super Heroes and Spiderman. Ruben enjoys outside activities; he likes to play hide and seek with his peers as well as play basketball. Ruben has a good appetite and his favorite dish is spaghetti and pizza. He likes going to eat outside at a pizza place as well as McDonald's restaurant. At home, Ruben interacts well with his peers but when things don't go his way, he becomes unfriendly. At school, Ruben also interacts well with his peers but becomes aggressive when things don't go his way. He has a hard time sitting still for a long time and has to be prompted to stay on task. Rubes receives speech therapy to help facilitate his speech skills. He also receive services to help with him learn to manage his behaviors. Ruben is bonded with his sibling, William and he is also protective of him.

William and Ruben are very bonded and enjoy playing with each other. They are currently placed together in a foster home setting. Both enjoy playing with racing cars. Ruben plays the leadership role by being protective of his younger brother and William looks to him for direction and support.

Ruben can benefit from a single parent family or a two-parent family that is loving and willing to provide Ruben with structured safe loving environment. He will also need a family who would like to adopt both boys.
