Rusty is a 10-year-old boy from Arkansas who is hoping to be adopted.
Rusty is a very active boy. He has a very serious personality for one so young. Rusty likes to play outside and loves to swim. He likes to make sure that everything is on schedule and goes as planned. Change is hard for him but he will adjust given time. Rusty is eager to please but can be argumentative when asked to do something he doesn’t want to do. He loves to get attention and receive praise. Eating donuts and ice cream are one of his favorite things to do. Rusty would really like to have a home and family of his own. Rusty has two siblings that are also available for adoption. It is important that they be adopted together as a sibling group. They do argue and fuss with each other as siblings are prone to do but they are close and bonded to each other.
Rusty needs a parent, or parents that will be willing to have patience with him. He needs to feel loved and accepted and needs to be able to trust that adults won’t hurt him. He will need to continue with counseling and keeping him focused on his educational goals. A family that is fond of the outdoors and has lots of space for Rusty and his siblings to run and play would be wonderful for them.
