If you like people with a sweet personality who are sharp, observant, generous and caring, then you will love Ruth! Ruth gets along very well with adults and likes to please them. Her relations with peers are improving and she enjoys being in social situations. Ruth loves animals of all kinds, big and small, and has expressed the desire to become a veterinarian. She is also very artistic, loves to draw, and does bead work! Ruth attends church regularly and very much enjoys helping to greet visitors to the church. Another of Ruth’s favorites is attending women’s basketball games at the University of Oklahoma!
Ruth is in good health and current on her immunizations. She currently lives at a group home and attends public school. Ruth wears glasses but has no hearing or dental issues. She receives counseling services through the group home to help her deal with adjustment issues, peer relationships, healthy boundaries, self-esteem, positive school behavior, and work through grief and loss issues. Ruth’s counselor is pleased with the positive progress she has made!
Ruth is currently in the 8th grade. She is on an IEP, but is an avid reader. When she was last tested, she read at an 11th grade level. Her favorite subject is art.
Ruth needs a loving parent who is willing to spend time with her and help her overcome challenges. Ruth also has a twin, and the two girls wish to maintain a relationship – this is very important to Ruth! Ruth needs a family who is willing to understand and support this relationship. She does well with structure and routine, and is a very pleasant youth to be around. She will make an excellent addition to any family!
