Ryan is a loving little Caucasian boy who longs to become an active part of a family he can count on forever. Ryan enjoys playing with friends and working on puzzles. He also likes to ride his bike, go fishing, and build things with Legos. He says he would like to be a police officer when he grows up. Because Ryan had a rough start in life with no structure or boundaries, he needs parents who will work with him and show him how to be a part of a family. Ryan will need to rely on his new family to have a lot of patience and be able to spend quality time with him. Despite his challenges, it is a delight to be around Ryan. He has made progress in his current placement and is learning how to join in on conversations or group activities such as singing. Ryan enjoys drawing and states that his pictures “are for his family”. This youngster yearns for a family that can be there for him always. With structure and consistent support, Ryan will continue to learn how to develop and maintain positive relationships and how to make choices appropriate for him.
