Photolisting Profile for Samuel J

Samuel J is a 14-year-old boy from Maine who is hoping to be adopted.
Samuel is a bright eyed young man who is described as caring and inquisitive. Born in May of 1995, Sam loves to play with video games and electronics of all kinds. He is initially quiet and rather shy. But once Samuel is comfortable, he is quite engaging and polite. Samuel attends public school and says he likes it. His favorite subject is science. He was working with circuits and electricity when he came to get his photo taken and was excited to learn about that. Samuel also talked a little about playing soccer. But his favorite outdoor activity is ice skating. There is a pond near his house and he helps clear the snow so he can skate there with the other kids in the neighborhood. The best family for Samuel will be experienced and nurturing. A home that is structured, predictable, rather quiet would fit well with Samuel’s needs. It would be best for Samuel to be the youngest in the home, but the professionals who work with him hope for a family where Samuel can be an only child. Samuel needs a family that can help him to recognize his best qualities and someone to help him to grow into his best self. Samuel has a younger brother that it will be important for him to maintain contact with.
