Description
Samuel is an awesome person of integrity and determination. He is insightful and grateful concerning his life experience. Samuel is thankful for the basic things in life and appreciates that he has a future. Yet, he realizes that he not only wants parents but needs parents. Samuel is a good person in every since of the word. He works hard and does well in school. Samuel is sociable and attentive to others. He takes other people's feelings into consideration. Samuel is polite and respectful. He is strong and courageous, yet he has insecurities and vulnerabilities that remind him that time is running out for his dream of having a forever family. Samuel is reminded that there may not be a family cheering for him during graduation; seeing him off as he leaves for college or the Navy; or a family to tell him how much they love him and are proud of him. Samuel loves recreational activities. He enjoys playing football and basketball, although football is his favorite. Samuel hopes to play football when he goes off to school or even become a professional football player. He does not like to be idle. Samuel believes in staying busy and productive. He is willing to try new things even if it means he may be uncomfortable. Samuel has the fortitude to keep pushing through difficult times, tough situations, mistakes, disappointments, and seemingly discouraging realities. Samuel would say that his faith has kept him strong. He enjoys going to church and would like a family who attends church. There have been times when Samuel endured the harassment of others and kept it bottled up. He is learning to keep communications open about his feelings and how the behaviors of others affect him. He does not like a lot of conflict because he doesn't like to get angry. Samuel is very nice and easy going. Relationships are very important to Samuel. He needs parents who will be loving and active. Samuel's parents will teach him values and offer guidance. His home will be structured, yet not rigid. Samuel would like to have siblings but does not mind being the only child. He will love fellowshipping with a large extended family. Samuel needs a family who is very involved in the lives of their children and will be extremely supportive. Most of all Samuel wants a family who is willing to adopt him at the "midnight hour", and confirm his faith that he will be part of a forever family.
