Sandie is an outgoing, socialable girl who can easily make friends. She can be shy when she first meets you but, this will be for a short time. She can be very helpful around the house, at school, and with children of all ages. Sandie is close to peers and has established friendships with many of her classmates. She likes to cook and bake. Cookies are her favorite to bake and share. Sandie likes to play outdoors, ride her bike, play video games, and work with beads. She likes to make bracelets and necklaces out of beads and is good at it. Sandie has a mind of her own and needs guidance to develop better ways to accept disappointments. At times her behavior can be occasional grumpy, and testy and needs support as she accepts adult requests. Foster parents state that Sandie responds best to redirection. Sandie is able to establish positive relationships with everyone. Sandie is bright and excels in her schoolwork; she is currently a B student. Teachers report her as being very helpful with other students once she has completed her class work.
This energetic sibling group of four, Raul, Sandie, Johnny, and Oscar enjoy outdoor activities, such as playing and riding bicycles and they enjoy playing cards. These siblings interact well with others and their caregivers. They are very protective of each other. All four siblings have a close relationship and want to be adopted together. Raul likes to have a good time wherever he is and likes to joke and laugh at himself and with others. Sandie likes to cook and bake cookies. She is outgoing and can easily make friends. Sandie wants to be adopted with all her siblings. The family will need to have experience raising or living with adolescents. They need to have prior parenting experience to handle the challenges of a sibling group of four. A family with one or two other children in the home would be acceptable.
