These wonderful kids have always lived together and hope to find an adoptive family who will love and care for them together. They have a half-brother, also in foster care, with whom they need to have ongoing contact and visits. Savannah is a sweet and talkative little girl with lots of energy. She is a very bright child who works hard to please others. Savannah enjoys playing with dolls and watching or listening to Hannah Montana. She also loves to watch the Disney channel. Savannah dreams of being happy and loved and wants to become either a dancer or a teacher when she grows up. She attends regular classes at school where a personal aide helps her stay on task. Counseling is helping her better understand her feelings and learn appropriate methods of expressing them. Chris is a handsome young man with sparkling blue eyes and an enigmatic smile that makes you wonder what he’s been up to. He is always happy and bounces out of bed in the morning, raring to take on the new day. Chris is very independent, but makes friends easily. He enjoys being active and fishing, swimming, bike riding, and roller skating are his favorite activities. Chris also likes playing with his army men, swords, and toy guns. He intends to join the army when he finishes high school, to defend his country. Chris likes to play football and is excited about playing next year. He loves animals and has had the opportunity to be around chickens, birds, fish, dogs, and a sugar glider. Christ attends regular classes at school where he loves to talk and sometimes has difficulty focusing, so his personal aide helps him stay on task. His grades have been very good this year. Savannah and Chris are like any brother and sister; they argue and fuss and blame everything on the other one. They also love each dearly and must be adopted together. Like all children, Savannah and Chris need a family that provides them with clearly established rules and appropriate consequences. Consistency, stability, and structure provided by parents who are also loving, nurturing, and supportive would be ideal.
