Savannah is a friendly, talkative, and caring young woman with a big heart. She enjoys shopping, listening to rap and gospel music, reading, writing poetry, and being with her child. Some more of Savannah’s favorite things to do include walking on the beach, eating pizza, and participating in SAYSO, Chorus, and the LINKS program. Savannah attends regular classes at school where she has developed a reputation among her teachers as a cooperative student who consistently strives to achieve. She has good verbal skills and communicates well. Savannah hopes to go to nursing school and is also interested in the EMT program. Savannah has a baby in DSS custody who is living in a foster placement. However, her child is not available for adoption and will be in Savannah’s custody when she is adopted or is awarded a guardian. Adoptive parents for Savannah must be able to provide intensive attention and care for her while helping guide her in parenting her child. They must also be willing to provide a permanent placement and allow her continued contact with her birth family. They must demonstrate good maternal care.
