Shameka is an 18-year-old girl from Florida who is hoping to be adopted.

Shameka is a very sociable, friendly and communicative child. She is very generous and the major problem she is confronting currently is her weight gain. Although she has attended ESE classes she is now in the process of being mainstreamed to regular classes because she is doing so well. She has proven that she can work at school when she is motivated enough. She very much enjoys helping her foster mother when she is cooking and sometimes is allowed to cook while she is being supervised. She also likes music, specifically, singing. Although she has not lived with her sister for quite awhile she would very much like to find a forever family that would take both of them.
