Shaveesa is a friendly, kind-hearted, and hopeful girl. She is a very alert, sensitive, and lovable child. Shaveesa enjoys playing cards and board games, basketball, and swimming. She enjoys being given responsibilities and her chores are generally done well and with little prompting.
Shaveesa attends special education classes where she is better able to maintain appropriate conduct and stay on task. Through therapy Shaveesa has learned how to better process her feelings and make better choices in her actions and behaviors. Being given chores and responsibilities has helped her feel included and is a wonderful boost to her self-esteem.
Shaveesa is a sweet and lovable child that wishes to be part of a loving family. She needs an adoptive family that has a lot of time and the patience to love, support, and nurture her. Shaveesa will benefit from a family willing to give of themselves and their time to allow her to bond with them and understand that they will not give up on her. An adoptive family for Shaveesa will implement ways to help build her self-esteem and to feel good about herself. Shaveesa has a brother and sister with whom she will need ongoing visits and contact.
