Although Stephanie is bright, she regularly needs directions to follow class rules and to complete her work in a thoughtful manner rather than rush through it. Unfortunately, early life experiences did not give Stephanie the chance all children deserve to learn that care-giving adults are trustworthy, caring and reliable; instead, shes learned to meet her needs through manipulation, including using the bubbly charm so evident in the picture you see! Stephanie also seems to feel threatened she will lose the love and attention of adults when other children are present, and will act out to keep the focus on her. What Stephanie needs most from a family is parents who can provide lots of one-to-one attention, and who provides consistent, predictable rules and boundaries. Stephanie also has four sisters, with whom she is not being adopted. Despite their separation, Stephanies adoptive family should support an ongoing relationship between the sisters.
