Steven is a 16-year-old boy from Tennessee who is hoping to be adopted.

Steven is a bright kid who has a lot of potential for the future. He wants to be adopted into a two parent household and really wants and needs the love of a female adult. Steven has many interests. He wants to further his education in college or in a trade school. He really works well with his current foster parent. He lives on a farm and works for the parent on that farm. He is very helpful around the house, if he notices something dirty or messy he will clean it up without being asked and whether or not it's his mess. Steven is very intelligent and can accomplish whatever he sets his mind to do. He is a good student but has the potential to be a straight "A" student if he would apply more time to studies. Steven is a very big kid and loves football. He wants to play this up coming season wherever he is in school. Others that know Steven would say he presents real well and has very much potential however has been sidetracked at times which he likes to blame on others turning their back on him. Steven needs a two parent home, with the love and affection of a mother and the direction and discipline from a father. Other children in the home would be preferred to be male children his own age. I don't think anything can be ruled out however that would be the best situation. Steven is also in need of continued therapy addressing past drug issues as well as loss of both parents therefore suitable adoptable homes would need to be willing to support Steven in his continued therapy.
