Description

Responsive, playful and engaging Steven loves to interact with others. This boy loves the attention from people that he knows, especially when they stroke his face and hair to express their connection. Despite having multiple medical issues, Steven would not let life beat him down. He is a television and radio fanatic. He likes listening to the shows. One of the highlights of his day is to be taken outside for leisurely strolls in the neighborhood. He uses a wheelchair to move around. Steven recognizes familiar faces and he would cry when they leave the room. He can not verbalize his needs but you know from his expressions what he wants and how he feels. Steven attends special educational classes. His daily living skills are extremely limited and he has to depend on other's assistance. He has partial blindness and uses a G-tube for feeding. Currently, his needs are being met by specialized services in a placement facility.
