Tah-eem is a 11-year-old boy from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.
Tah-eem is described as funny, creative and artistic. He can be very affectionate and caring. He is friendly and likes to talk. He easily establishes relationships with adults, but needs support in maintaining relationships with peers. He takes pride in his appearance and likes to wear the latest styles and fashions. Tah-eem displays understanding beyond his years. He is grounded and does not let others influence his opinion or change his personal observations. Tah-eem's favorite activities include dancing, singing, riding his bike, watching movies and cartoons and swimming. Tah-eem is very creative and takes great pride in his drawings. He prefers indoor activities to outdoor activities, but has decided to try football this fall. He enjoys watching soccer, football and basketball. Tah-eem's favorite foods include breakfast foods, hot dogs and baked beans. He enjoys listening to gospel and R&B music. Tah-eem enjoys going to school and is capable of doing well when he tries. He needs on-going encouragement in this area to meet his full potential. He is not sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but has mentioned that he might like to be a teacher. Tah-asia is a beautiful girl with a wonderful smile. Tah-asia is described as insightful, competitive, bright and creative. She is articulate and a natural leader. She is friendly and open, but can take a while to warm up to new people. She also takes pride in her appearance and loves to wear the latest fashions. Some of Tah-asia's favorite activities include movie night, family dinners, dancing and drawing. She was a member of her school step team last year and is a cheerleader in a local recreation league. Tah-asia writes music and poetry that depict her personal struggles and moments of fulfillment. She likes to make up new dances. Like any typical girl her age, she likes to hang out with friends and talk on the phone. Tah-asia enjoys going to school and she does well there. Her intelligence enables her to "read between the lines" and understand complicated ideas that other children her age typically miss. She has talked about becoming a doctor, musician or lawyer when she grows up. Tah-eem and Tah-asia's ideal family are African-American. They will be able to provide consistency and positive reinforcement to help the children meet their full potential. Both children would prefer a single female parent, but are open to a two-parent family as well. They have a brother they would like to maintain contact with.Siblings
