Tessa is like a fairy princess waiting for an enchanted tea party. She is dainty and full of sparkle. Tessa enjoys frilly things and lots of pink. She enjoys looking pretty and likes to take pictures. Tessa loves to play with dolls. She fancies playing princess and make believe about far away kingdoms. Tessa has a wonderful imagination. When Tessa is not being a princess then she is a singer. She likes country and contemporary Christian music. Tessa can be very engaging and friendly. She is very charming and sweet. Tessa can be very polite and presents herself well, especially when she is hosting a tea party. Tessa takes speech therapy and would benefit from physical and occupational therapy. She utilizes special classes in school to help her achieve academic targets. Tessa has achieved many milestones and is anxious to see how more she will achieve with a new family by her side. She will benefit from ongoing therapy. Tessa can have many good days when her environment is structured to meet her emotional needs. She thrives on one on one interaction. Tessa enjoys the attention of her caregivers. Tessa would love to be the youngest or only child. She has an older brother and sister who are not being placed with Tessa. Tessa responds to redirection most of the time. She requires more prompts when she is upset or discouraged. Tessa is learning new calming techniques. She sometimes borrows other people's unimportant items such as pens with out permission and misplaces them in the same spot. Tessa has difficulty understanding the behavior of others and determining her own responses to social situations. She is a very enthusiastic child and wants to do many things. Tessa's parents will be understanding and patient. They will have plenty of time to spend with Tessa and allow her to participate in extra curricular activities. Her parents will advocate for her to help her achieve academically. They will identify and utilize resources to help Tessa be as independent as possible.
