Outgoing and definitely not shy is how others have described Thomas. Playing video games and listening to music is how Thomas likes to spend his free time. He prefers to listen to Hip Hop music and enjoys writing his own lyrics. The piano is an instrument that he shows great interest in and he reports playing a little by ear. His favorite subjects at school include math, science, and social studies. Thomas also likes electronics and especially likes to take things apart and reassemble the items. In the past he has played on the school's football team and really enjoyed the experience. If Thomas were to have three wishes come true, he would wish for a perfect family, the ability to run faster, and to one day publish a book. Thomas believes he is a happy person but can be grumpy at times. Thomas does participate in therapy to address issues of loss, grief, and trust. At times it can be difficult for Thomas to follow the direction of those in roles of authority, but through the aid of counseling he continues to learn methods and techniques to help in this area. Thomas would like a mom and dad who will love him unconditionally. He would also like a big brother for a role model and would prefer no sisters. He would also like a family who has pets and a family who is involved in various outdoor activities such as skating, snowboarding, and swimming. Thomas would do well in a traditional family where there are older children or young male children. This family will need to be able to provide Thomas with structure and routine. Therapy session will need to be continued when Thomas is placed with a family.
