Tiffany is a cute girl. She is very outgoing and enjoys gymnastics and cheerleading. She likes to play any games outside, especially dodge ball and swimming. She states that she wants an adoptive home where she can have kittens and other pets.
Tiffany’s therapist states that she has dealt appropriately with a great deal of anger this past year due to the termination of her parental rights. She has talked openly about why she did not want to be adopted at first in the hopes that she could return home. She has since accepted that she needs a forever family and is ready to move on with her life.
Tiffany’s case manager has seen some real changes in her in the past two years. She gets along better with other peers and is not so aggressive and hostile as when they first met. She is a very pleasant child and can tell you what she wants. She makes above average grades and can excel in the classroom when she applies herself.
Tiffany is working on her ability to accept adoption as her goal. She has had several moves in the past year and fears rejection. She can function well in a two-parent home or a home with a single mother. She can function well with both older and younger children. She needs the opportunity to pursue extra-curricular activities. She needs encouragement to reach her academic potential. She also needs a home that will be accepting of occasional visits with her older sister who is in a group home.
