Timothy is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Timothy loves playing outside. He enjoys being with adults and receiving positive attention from the authority figures in his life. He loves his siblings and enjoys spending time with them. In school, Timothy is able to identify most colors and he knows the alphabet. He learns at a slower rate than other children his age and often struggles with his educational progress. Timothy will often get frustrated with his inability to spell his name without missing a letter, but he is taking great strides in improving in his daily academics. He benefits greatly from constant redirection as he is unable to retain information for long periods of time. Timothy loves to interact with other children his age even though he has some trouble expressing himself verbally.
Timothy, Brittney, Zachery, and Elizabeth are full of energy and like to play with toys and games. They each have distinct personalities and they will all bring something different into their future forever family. The children interact well with each other most of the time. Like most siblings, they have occasional sibling rivalry and disagreements at times. All of the children receive supportive services and are working on learning appropriate boundaries with their siblings and how to be respectful of their emotions and personal space. They have benefited from the consistency of this and are improving in their behaviors. The children thrive with structure and consistency in progressing with their goals. This four-some is vocal about their outfit choices. They require minimal guidance with their daily hygiene tasks. Each child in this sibling group comes with their separate joys and hurdles. They will be a fun addition to their forever family!
Timothy will thrive with a family that is active and patient in meeting his needs. He is willing to learn and wants to fit in with his forever family. Timothy will benefit from a family that is consistent and who keeps a structured schedule in regards to daily activities and education. Timothy needs a supportive family who is patient with repetition and understands different learning styles and techniques.
