Trevion is a 10-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Trevion is an active child. He seems to be on the go most of the time. He is very interested in sports, and prefers to be outdoors. Although he enjoys sports of all kinds, his favorite sports are football and basketball. Trevion aspires to become a football player when he grows up. His video games are also sports centered. He enjoys riding his bike, going to recreational facilities, and exercising. When Trevion takes a break from outdoor activities, he spends his time watching cartoons on T.V. with his younger brother. Trevion can be rather shy and uncomfortable when he is alone in social situations. When possible, Trevion likes to have his brother with him by his side, so that he feels more comfortable. At times, he can be evasive, trying to avoid social contact with his peers. He seldom initiates conversation; however, he will participate in a conversation by providing minimal responses. Trevion is an straight A student who enjoys attending school. He has good behavior in school, and is able to establish and maintain good working relationships with both his peers and teachers. His favorite subject is Math; his least favorite subjects are Science and Social Studies. When Trevion does well in school, he likes to be rewarded by being taken to the store and allowed to pick out new clothes, or going to eat at a restaurant. He can be very sensitive to rejection and failure.

Vernon and Trevion are personable and energetic children who are well mannered. They have a very close relationship and enjoy spending time together. Although they have typical sibling conflicts at times, they prefer one another as playmates rather than another child. Some of the activities they enjoy together are; playing video games, wrestling, riding their bikes, exercising, and playing basketball. Trevion is very protective of Vernon, he takes his role as big brother very seriously. He is careful to make sure that Vernon is not being bullied or picked on, and is always included in activities. Vernon and Trevion need a loving, patient family that is willing to adopt both children. The family needs to provide a nurturing environment with consistent discipline, structure and supervision. The best family for Vernon and Trevion will be willing to connect with community resources to meet thier needs. He needs a family who will love him and provide a safe, stable, and nuturing home. The ideal family will be dedicated to providing Trevion with emotional, physical, medical, and educational support.
