Photolisting Profile for Troy

Troy is a 13-year-old boy from Virginia who is hoping to be adopted.
These brothers are ready to begin a new chapter in their lives and want it to include a family that will always be there for them. Troy and Travis are siblings who share a good relationship and want to grow up in the same family. Troy enjoys playing basketball and having fun with video games. He is very talkative but tends to be quiet about the things that matter most to him. Because he has been disappointed in some of his placements, he can be eager to please but then wants to push limits to see if a family is actually going to keep him. Troy has a good sense of humor although he tends to take it too far. There are times when he prefers to play video games rather than do most anything else, especially his school work, which is a struggle for him. Troy has begun to be interested in girls and will need help from his family in learning how to successfully interact with his peers, maintain relationships and build good self-esteem. Younger brother Travis is described as very sweet in nature. He has very good manners and is polite when spoken to. He enjoys playing sports such as baseball. He interacts well with boys his age or older, but he has a tendency to try and control the actions of younger children when he is around them. Travis is involved in church and participates in its activities. These brothers have had a difficult past and long for a great future with a family they can finally count on – one that understands what they have experienced and how they need to be protected, respected and unconditionally accepted. Can your family show Troy and Travis how they can be loved and valued as sons so they can look forward to that great future?Siblings
